During the India-Russia bilateral summit on December 5, President Putin and PM Modi held extensive talks in New Delhi. Putin offered an 'uninterrupted supply' of Russian fuel as US sanctions and tariff pressures mount. The two leaders agreed on a program for developing Indo-Russian economic cooperation until 2030.

Both sides are also exploring India's entry into a free trade zone with the Eurasian Economic Union. Additionally, agreements were signed on an investment project to build a plant producing active pharmaceutical substances in Russia's Kaluga Region, cooperation in education, and data systems for space cooperation. Defence agreements focused on joint R&D, co-manufacturing, and greater interoperability in aerospace, naval systems, and ordnance.
