Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde inaugurated the National Women's Folk Art Workshop organized by the Department of Visual Arts at Rajasthan University campus on January 2, 2026. The workshop brought together women folk artists from across India to showcase traditional art forms and promote cultural preservation.

Simultaneously, a state-level Women Entrepreneur Conference and Western Rajasthan Industry & Handicraft Festival 2026 was held at Ramleela Ground in Jodhpur. The festival focused on handicraft promotion, rural empowerment, PM Vishwakarma scheme awareness, and MSME growth opportunities for women artisans in western Rajasthan, covering traditional bandhani, block printing, and leatherwork crafts.
