Scheme framework for objective exams
Women and child welfare schemes in this topic fall into four exam-friendly groups: nutrition, maternity, girl-child education and protection. At the central level, ICDS, PM POSHAN, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Mission Shakti and PMMVY form the main recall basket. At the Rajasthan level, Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana, Lado Protsahan Yojana, Palanhar Yojana, Mukhya Mantri Matratva Poshan Yojana, Kalibai Bhil Medhavi Chhatra Scooty Yojana, KGBV and Jan Aadhaar-linked delivery are repeatedly useful.
The RSSB objective level usually tests names, target groups, launch years where standard, instalment patterns, ministry linkages and delivery channels. Do not treat every welfare scheme as women-specific: PM POSHAN is a school-nutrition programme, ICDS is for children, mothers and adolescent girls, and Jan Aadhaar is a delivery platform. They become relevant here because they affect children, pregnant women, lactating women, adolescent girls and girl-student retention.
Remember: classify the scheme first, then memorise the beneficiary, benefit and delivery point.
