Official scope and source discipline

For CET Senior Secondary, current affairs must stay inside the 2026 RSSB scope: major contemporary events at state and national level in politics, economy, society, culture, technology, geography, ecology and sports; famous personalities; state and national programs and policies; civic duties, fundamental duties and moral values; and salient provisions of The Rajasthan Public Examination (Measures for Prevention of Unfair Means in Recruitment) Act, 2022. This topic should therefore not drift into graduation-only India-wide history, RBI monetary policy depth, or old reasoning blocks.

Use a source-first method. Project packages are safest from PMO or PIB releases. Rajasthan schemes and targets are safest from Finance Department budget documents and Economic Review. Appointments should be checked from Raj Bhawan, Lok Bhavan, the President Secretariat or the concerned official portal. Sports results should be checked from the event body, such as Olympics, ICC or FIDE, or from PIB where the Government has issued a consolidated review.

Exam cue: write each fact as year, institution, place and purpose. If any number cannot be traced to an official source, leave the number out rather than carrying a coaching-note figure into revision.
