REET Exam Date 2026: Not Announced

Last updated: July 2026 · Awaiting official RBSE notification

Status: Notification awaited

As of July 2026, RBSE has not published the official REET 2026 notification. The pending 2026 status and the previous official cycle are shown separately below. Unless a notification appears on rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in, do not treat claims of a new notification as official. We will update this page when RBSE releases it.

Quick answer

The REET 2026 exam date has not been announced. The notification is expected between April and June 2026, but the 2026 application and exam dates will be known only when RBSE issues a separate notification. For reference, the REET-2024 notification was released on 12 December 2024, applications ran from 16 December 2024 to 15 January 2025, and the exam was scheduled from 27 February 2025. This is a preparation reference, not the announced REET 2026 schedule.

Eligibility reference date

The REET-2024 notice allowed candidates studying in recognised teacher-training courses to sit the exam under the listed qualification routes. The relevant recruitment rules set the deadline for completing the course and obtaining every required qualification for a later teacher recruitment.

The exact eligibility cut-off date for the 2026 cycle will be confirmed in the official RBSE notification. Confirm this in the notification before assuming you qualify.

How to prepare while waiting

Frequently asked questions

When is the REET 2026 exam scheduled?

As of July 2026, RBSE has not published the official REET 2026 notification. Do not treat any estimated month or day as official until a separate 2026 notification gives the date. We will update this page when the notification is released.

Where will REET 2026 dates be officially announced?

The official REET notification is published on the RBSE site at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in/RTET-REET. RBSE also issues a press release and the Rajasthan Education Department announces the dates. Do not rely on circulating WhatsApp or aggregator dates until they appear on the official RBSE page.

What was the verified REET notification-to-exam timeline?

In the previous verified cycle, the notification was released on 12 December 2024, applications ran from 16 December 2024 to 15 January 2025, admit-card downloads were proposed from 19 February 2025, and the exam was scheduled from 27 February 2025. Do not treat this old schedule as the 2026 timeline; only the dates in the new notification will be final.

How do I apply for REET once notification opens?

Applications are accepted online through the official REET portal. You will need: a recent passport-size photograph, signature, scanned copies of educational certificates, category certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate (for Rajasthan-specific reservations), and the application fee. For the last verified RBSE REET notification (REET-2024), the exam fee was ₹550 for Level 1, ₹550 for Level 2, and ₹750 for both levels; check the current RBSE notice before paying.

Will the REET 2026 syllabus change?

The official REET-2024 structure was 30+30+30+60 for Level 2 and 30+30+30+30+30 for Level 1. Any change specific to 2026 will be announced in the new official notification. Do not assume a change from circulating documents unless it appears on rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.

When will the RSSB Grade-3 recruitment based on REET 2026 happen?

The RSSB Grade-3, or "REET Mains", recruitment cycle is covered by a separate RSSB notification after the REET eligibility cycle. RSSB Mains 2025 notified 7,123 vacancies; rely only on the next official RSSB notice for the timing and posts in the following recruitment cycle.

What documents should I keep ready for the REET 2026 application?

Keep ready: 10th and 12th certificates, graduation degree (if applicable), B.Ed/D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed certificate or proof of pursuit (for final-year candidates), category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS) if applicable, domicile certificate for Rajasthan claims, recent passport-size photograph and signature in the specified format, and a valid email + mobile number for OTP-based registration.

How can I prepare while waiting for the REET 2026 notification?

Start with the current Level 1 and Level 2 syllabus PDFs on the official RBSE site. Read the prescribed state textbooks linked to that syllabus, then account for any changes when the new notification arrives. Build your child-development foundation through theory and classroom application, and practise MCQs regularly for every topic. Aspirant Academy's REET section currently has reviewed bilingual notes and topic-wise practice for Level 2 Social Studies and child development.
