Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Mission Karmayogi Sadhana Saptah event, emphasizing the need for transforming India''s civil services into a citizen-centric, technology-driven force. Mission Karmayogi, launched in 2020, is the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB) aimed at creating a future-ready civil service with the right attitude, skills, and knowledge.

The PM highlighted the importance of moving from a rule-based to a role-based approach in governance, where civil servants are empowered to think innovatively and deliver outcomes rather than merely follow procedures. The iGOT Karmayogi platform, the digital backbone of the mission, has onboarded over 1.5 crore learners, with more than 8 crore course completions and over 4,600 courses. The Sadhana Saptah featured capacity building workshops, best practice sharing sessions, and recognition of outstanding civil servants who demonstrated excellence in public service delivery.
