The 6th Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2025 opened on October 7 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, running until October 9. The theme was 'Empowering Finance for a Better World — Powered by AI: Augmented Intelligence | Innovation | Inclusion.' PM Narendra Modi and UK PM Keir Starmer delivered keynote addresses.

PM Modi highlighted that UPI facilitates 20 billion transactions monthly worth over ₹25 lakh crore, with India accounting for 50 out of every 100 real-time digital transactions globally. He showcased India's digital stack — UPI, Aadhaar Enabled Payment System, Bharat Bill Payment System, DigiLocker, DigiYatra, and GeM. The event attracted over 80,000 attendees.
