Siliserh Lake in Alwar district, Rajasthan, and Kopra Jalashay in Chhattisgarh were added to the Ramsar List on 12 December 2025, taking India's Ramsar-site count to 96 at that time. Siliserh Lake became a Ramsar-listed wetland in Rajasthan; it is an artificial lake in the buffer zone of Sariska Tiger Reserve.

Ramsar records that Siliserh Lake supports 149 bird species and 17 mammal species, including the vulnerable river tern and the endangered tiger. Rajasthan Tourism records that Maharaja Vinay Singh constructed a hunting palace at Siliserh in 1845, and Rajasthan government material records the Siliserh bund across a tributary of the Ruparel. The wetland's Ramsar-listed area is 315.97 hectares. As of 22 April 2026, India has 99 Ramsar sites after the designation of Shekha Jheel Bird Sanctuary.
