Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma made major economic development announcements in December 2025. Of the ₹35 lakh crore worth of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, projects worth ₹7 lakh crore have already been implemented on the ground — reflecting a 20% realisation rate within approximately one year of the Summit. CM Sharma also announced the launch of a petrochemical refinery in the state in December 2025, a landmark addition to Rajasthan's industrial landscape. The Rajasthan Logistics Policy 2025, also launched by CM Sharma, aims to build an efficient, cost-effective logistics ecosystem across Rajasthan, leveraging the state's strategic location at the intersection of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). CM Sharma reiterated Rajasthan's target to become a USD 350 billion economy by 2030. On the social welfare front, the government has provided tap water connections to 13.06 lakh rural households under Jal Jeevan Mission at a cost of ₹9,936 crore and held 294 job fairs connecting 93,585 applicants with employment opportunities. CM Sharma also highlighted plans for 12 new industrial and sectoral policies covering emerging sectors including semiconductors, defence manufacturing, aerospace, green hydrogen, and sustainable industries — positioning Rajasthan at the forefront of India's new economy transition.
