Jasprit Bumrah scripted history on October 10, 2025, becoming the first Indian fast bowler to play 50 matches across all three international formats — Tests, ODIs, and T20Is. The milestone came when he was named in India's playing XI for the second Test against West Indies at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Bumrah has played 50 Tests, 89 ODIs, and 75 T20Is, claiming 467 wickets across formats. He became only the seventh Indian to achieve this feat after MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin, and KL Rahul. In the first Test at Ahmedabad, Bumrah also became the fastest Indian bowler to take 50 Test wickets at home.
