India Maritime Week 2025 (October 27–31, Mumbai) concluded with over 600 MoUs worth more than ₹12 lakh crore signed under the theme 'Uniting Oceans, One Maritime Vision'. PM Modi addressed the Maritime Leaders Conclave and Global Maritime CEO Forum with participation from 85+ countries and 400+ exhibitors. Major investments include Maersk and DP World announcing logistics investments of $7 billion. The Shipping Corporation of India announced fleet expansion to 216 vessels by 2047 with ₹1 lakh crore investment. India's new domestic containership company was also confirmed, aligning with the Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision (MAKV) 2047.
