Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, who also serves as Chairman of Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals Ltd (RSMML), directed the company to increase mineral production. RSMML has supplied 43.15 lakh tonnes of minerals including rock phosphate, lignite, gypsum and limestone in FY2025-26 up to November.

The Chief Secretary reviewed investment procedure simplification as part of Rajasthan's push to be among the country's top states in Ease of Doing Business. Rajasthan's mining sector currently contributes 3.4% to the state's GDP, with a target of 5% by FY30 and 8% by FY47 under the forthcoming new mineral policy.
