The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) celebrated the 18th Raising Day of Project Arunank at Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh, on October 24, 2025. Since its raising in 2008, the project has constructed and maintained over 696 km of roads and 1.18 km of major bridges, providing vital connectivity to remote valleys and forward areas of Arunachal Pradesh while meeting Armed Forces operational requirements.

Project Arunank operates in some of India's most challenging terrain near the Line of Actual Control (LAC). A key milestone was connectivity to Maza, described as the final frontier along the LAC, established on December 28, 2022; the TCC-Maza and TCC-Taksing roads were also highlighted for 2025.
