NHAI created four Guinness World Records on the Bengaluru-Kadapa-Vijayawada Economic Corridor (NH-544G) in Andhra Pradesh in January 2026. On January 6, two records were set near Puttaparthi — longest continuous laying of 28.89 lane km of Bituminous Concrete in 24 hours, and highest quantity of 10,655 metric tons in 24 hours.

On January 11, two more records were created — continuous laying of 57,500 metric tons and continuous paving of 156 lane km (52 km x 3-lane), surpassing the previous record of 84.4 lane km. The 343-km access-controlled six-lane corridor features 17 interchanges, 10 wayside amenities, and a 5.3-km tunnel. PIB said the records reflected NHAI's commitment to world-class national highway infrastructure.
