The Winter Session of Parliament commenced on December 1, 2025, and was adjourned sine die on December 19. This is the 6th Session of the 18th Lok Sabha and the 269th Session of the Rajya Sabha. The government listed 13 Bills for consideration including the Atomic Energy Bill, Corporate Laws (Amendment) Bill, Insurance Laws (Amendment) Bill, the Higher Education Commission of India Bill, and the National Highways (Amendment) Bill.

The Opposition raised concerns about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and demanded discussions on farmer protests and the Manipur situation. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju urged all parties to ensure productive functioning of the session.
