Post-budget analysis revealed that Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) Phase-5 will connect 25,000 additional villages, with an allocation of ₹19,000 crore — a 73% increase over the previous year's revised estimate. Under PMGSY's earlier phases, 1,63,665 roads spanning 6.25 lakh km and 7,210 bridges have been completed. Rajasthan has adopted zonal maintenance contracts as a model for PMGSY-III road upkeep.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural received ₹54,917 crore for 2026-27, a 69% increase over the revised estimate of 2025-26. Solar irrigation under PM-KUSUM was scaled up from ₹2,600 crore to ₹5,000 crore, aiming to cover 1 crore farmers. The agriculture department's total budget rose to ₹1,32,561 crore with fertilizer subsidy of ₹1,70,944 crore.
