Continuing post-budget sectoral analysis, the Union Budget 2026-27 established an SME Growth Fund of ₹10,000 crore to develop MSMEs as 'future champions'. A Container Manufacturing Scheme of ₹10,000 crore aims to reduce India's dependence on imported containers for trade logistics. The Self-Reliant India Fund received an additional ₹2,000 crore.

City Economic Regions (CER) — a new concept — will receive ₹5,000 crore per region over five years to create industrial corridors. Twenty new national waterways will be operationalized over five years. Additionally, 4,000 e-buses are planned for Purvodaya (eastern India) states. The budget also announced the Dankuni-Surat dedicated freight corridor connectivity. These infrastructure initiatives will boost manufacturing and trade, benefiting Rajasthan's MSME ecosystem.
