Rajasthan achieved a significant renewable energy milestone by surpassing the 2,000 MW installed capacity under the PM-KUSUM (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan) scheme. The Jodhpur DISCOM alone crossed 2,017 MW under Components A and C.

The state doubled its PM-KUSUM solar capacity in two years from 1,000 MW (crossed in May 2025) to 2,000+ MW. Over 2.83 lakh farmers now receive daytime electricity for farming. The national PM-KUSUM capacity reached 9,466 MW as of October 31, 2025, with Rajasthan leading Component A installations at 463.75 MW.
