The 76th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2025), held in Sydney, Australia from September 29 to October 3, 2025, served as a major platform for India's space establishment. ISRO and IN-SPACe jointly participated, highlighting India's progress across missions including Gaganyaan, NISAR (NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar), and commercial satellite launches under the liberalised space policy. India's private space sector — including startups like Skyroot and Agnikul — also showcased innovations.

Concurrently in India, the Model Rocketry and CanSat India Student Competition was organised by IN-SPACe, ISRO, and the Astronautical Society of India at Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, with 67 teams and nearly 500 students launching payloads to about 1 kilometre altitude. This initiative reflects India's broader strategy under Space Vision 2047 — combining elite mission capability with grassroots STEM ecosystem development to build a self-sustaining space economy.
