As part of the broader Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign leading up to Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, citizens were called upon to participate in the 'Ek Tareekh, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath' cleanliness campaign on October 1, 2025 at 10 AM for one hour. The initiative formed the centrepiece of Seva Pakhwada (September 17 to October 2).

The Ministry of Cooperation took part in the Swachhatsav campaign alongside the Swachh Bharat Mission. In 15 days of Seva Pakhwada, over 27 lakh events were held across India with participation of more than 28 crore citizens. The campaign marked the 11th anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission launched on October 2, 2014.
