On March 6, 2026, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the Final Result of the Civil Services Examination 2025. A total of 958 candidates were recommended for various services including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).

Anuj Agnihotri secured All India Rank 1 (AIR 1), becoming the topper of UPSC CSE 2025. He hails from Rahata village in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, and completed his MBBS from AIIMS Jodhpur in 2023. He cleared the exam in his third attempt, under the General category, without joining any coaching institute. He chose Medical Science as his optional subject, leveraging his MBBS background. Before clearing the examination, Agnihotri was serving in the Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Service (DANICS) as a Group B gazetted officer. He was followed by Rajeshwari Suve M (AIR 2) and Akansh Dhull (AIR 3).

The result is of significant pride for Rajasthan, as a candidate from the state topped the nation's most competitive examination. The UPSC Civil Services Examination is conducted in three stages — Preliminary, Mains, and Personality Test — and is widely regarded as the benchmark of administrative excellence in India.
