The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) commenced its centenary year celebrations on October 1, 2025, marking 100 years since its establishment on October 1, 1926. The Public Service Commission was originally set up under the Government of India Act, 1919, following the recommendations of the Lee Commission (1924).

Renamed the Federal Public Service Commission in 1937 and then the Union Public Service Commission under the Constitution in 1950, UPSC released a commemorative logo and tagline for its centenary. It also launched an anecdote portal titled 'My UPSC Interview: From Dream to Reality' inviting civil servants to share experiences.
