According to the Hurun Global Rich List 2026 released on March 7, India now has 308 billionaires, making it the third-largest billionaire hub globally after the US and China. India added 57 new billionaires while 27 dropped out, a net rise of 24. Total wealth of Indian billionaires rose 10% year-on-year to ₹112.6 trillion.

Mukesh Ambani retained his position as India's and Asia's richest with wealth of ₹9.8 lakh crore, followed by Gautam Adani at ₹7.5 lakh crore. Roshni Nadar Malhotra (HCL Technologies, ₹3.2 lakh crore) was the only woman in India's top 10. OYO founder Ritesh Agarwal (32 years, ₹14,440 crore) became India's youngest billionaire. Healthcare produced the most new billionaires.
