PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi – 21st Installment Release

Objective: Provide income support of Rs 6,000/year to eligible farmer families via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in three installments of Rs 2,000 each. Key Update (Nov 19, 2025): PM Modi released the 21st installment from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Nearly 9 crore farmers received approx Rs 18,000 crore. Cumulative Impact: Over Rs 3.70 lakh crore disbursed to 11+ crore farmer families across 20 prior installments since launch on Feb 24, 2019. New Features Announced: - Farmer Registry: Digital database to streamline welfare access - Kisan-eMitra AI Chatbot: Voice assistant in 11 regional languages (95 lakh+ queries resolved) - Enhanced e-KYC: OTP-based, biometric, and face authentication options - PM-KISAN Mobile App with face auth for remote farmers Eligibility: All landholding farmer families (subject to exclusion criteria).
