What is the 2025-26 sector baseline for Rajasthan's economy?
Rajasthan Economic Review 2025-26 estimates current-price GSDP at ₹18.75 lakh crore in 2025-26, up from ₹17.01 lakh crore in 2024-25.
| Sector | Share of current-price GSVA in 2025-26 | Main components |
|---|---|---|
| Agriculture and allied activities | 25.74 per cent | crops, livestock, fishing and forestry |
| Industry | 26.55 per cent | mining, manufacturing, electricity, gas, water supply and construction |
| Services | 47.71 per cent | trade, hotels, transport, storage, communication, finance, real estate, professional services, public administration and other services |
Services are the largest contributor. Agriculture remains important for food security, livestock income and raw materials; industry links minerals, construction materials, engineering, textiles and petroleum; services connect production with markets and administration. Barmer, Jodhpur, Pali, Bhiwadi, Neemrana, Khushkhera, Udaipur, Nagaur, Bhilwara and Kota illustrate these links. Western Rajasthan needs water-risk management and petroleum-linked diversification, north-eastern Rajasthan benefits from National Capital Region and corridor links, and southern and south-eastern Rajasthan connect minerals with cement, textiles and engineering.
