How to read current affairs for LDC objective GK

For the RSSB LDC paper, current affairs should be revised as stable exam hooks, not as a daily news diary. The useful facts are the name of a scheme, the level of government, the target group, the year, the amount or unit, and one clear Rajasthan or national link. A question may ask which district topped an index, which programme used DBT, which event was held in Jaipur, or which award was linked with a public-service innovation. The best answer comes from pairing a name with one identity marker. Treat budgets, Economic Review data, PIB releases and department notes as different kinds of evidence. A budget proves an announcement or allocation; an Economic Review proves measured data; a summit proves investor outreach; an implementation report proves actual progress. Do not mix announcement year, data year and completion year. Also separate a permanent institution from a temporary campaign: Jan Aadhaar is a continuing identity and delivery system, while Fit India Freedom Run 5.0 was a specific participation event. MCQs often invert units, so revise crore, lakh, cusecs, MCM, districts, families and participants with the noun they measure. For Rajasthan and national current affairs, revise by themes: welfare schemes, water and infrastructure, digital governance, sports participation, awards, and public appointments. This keeps the topic broad enough for objective GK while avoiding RAS Mains-style essays.
