Lado Protsahan Yojana

Lado Protsahan Yojana is a Rajasthan Women Empowerment Directorate scheme started on 1 August 2024 to improve the social attitude toward girl children and support their health, education and retention in school. The official Rajasthan department portal lists the Hindi name as Lado Protsahan Yojana and gives eligible beneficiaries as girl children born in Rajasthan government medical institutions and private medical institutions authorised for Janani Suraksha Yojana. The scheme starts automatically on birth in eligible institutions. The official benefit table gives total support of Rs 1,50,000 in seven stages: Rs 2,500 at birth, Rs 2,500 after completing one year and full immunisation, Rs 4,000 on Class 1 admission, Rs 5,000 on Class 6 admission, Rs 11,000 on Class 10 admission, Rs 25,000 on Class 12 admission, and Rs 1,00,000 after graduation and completion of 21 years. Payment is made online into the beneficiary's bank account.
