Light, Sound and Heat
For REET Level 2, Light, Sound and Heat should be prepared through observable Class 6-8 phenomena. Light covers sources, shadows, reflection, refraction and images in mirrors. Sound covers vibration, medium, pitch, loudness, echo, noise and noise reduction. Heat covers temperature, phase change, expansion, conductors, insulators and transfer by conduction, convection and radiation. Current NCERT citations should use the Curiosity science series for Grades 6, 7 and 8, while the RBSE REET syllabus remains the exam boundary.
