On November 27, 2025, Rajasthan hosted a Tourism Pre-Summit at Hotel Clarks Amer, Jaipur, ahead of the Pravasi Rajasthani Divas celebration scheduled for December 10, 2025. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma presided as chief guest while Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari — who also holds the Tourism portfolio — was the special guest. The summit brought together experts from the tourism sector to position Rajasthan as a year-round tourist destination. The new Rajasthan Tourism Policy 2025 and Film Tourism Promotion Policy were unveiled at the event. The Tourism Policy 2025 introduces several new initiatives: the Krishna Gaman Path and Braj-Dwarka pilgrimage routes, religious and wildlife tourism hubs, a single web portal for all permissions, an integrated digital platform for grading tourism businesses, astro-tourism, adventure tourism, wellness tourism, and a 24×7 tourism call centre for tourist safety. The brainstorming sessions covered film tourism, digital marketing, homestays, rural tourism, and investment opportunities. The event was a precursor to the Pravasi Rajasthani Divas 2025 on December 10, where the state government was expected to announce ₹1 lakh crore in investments through 421 MoUs.
