The Rajasthan government issued a transfer list late on Tuesday, ordering the immediate transfer and posting of 18 Indian Police Service officers. According to the Department of Personnel order, the administrative reshuffle assigns new responsibilities to officers at the Director General, Inspector General, Police Commissioner and Superintendent of Police levels.

Among the senior appointments, Anil Paliwal has been made Director General and Commandant General, Home Guards. Malini Agarwal has been appointed Director General of Police, Traffic. Sharat Kaviraj has received charge as Inspector General, Crime Branch, while Anshuman Bhomia has been appointed Police Commissioner, Jodhpur.

The order also names Rajendra Singh as Inspector General, Vigilance, Jaipur, and Dr Ravi as Inspector General, Ajmer Range. Kailash Chand Bishnoi has been assigned the post of Inspector General, Planning, Modernisation and Welfare. Dr Preeti Chandra has been made Inspector General, Bharatpur Range.

Other postings include Pradeep Mohan Sharma as Additional Police Commissioner, Traffic and Administration, Jaipur Police Commissionerate. Rajesh Kumar Kanwat has been appointed Superintendent of Police, Balotra, while Narendra Singh Meena has been posted as Commandant of the 10th Battalion, RAC, Bikaner. The Department of Personnel has directed all transferred officers to assume charge at their new postings with immediate effect. The list therefore covers senior, range, commissionerate, district and battalion assignments in the police department.
