The Hurun Global Rich List 2026, released in March, ranks India third globally with 308 billionaires after the US and China, adding 57 new billionaires in 2025-26. Mumbai leads as India's billionaire hub with 95 billionaires, surpassing New York (14 new) and London (9 new) in additions.

Top Indian billionaires: Mukesh Ambani (₹9.8 lakh crore, Asia's richest), Gautam Adani, Shiv Nadar, Cyrus Poonawalla, and Radhakishan Damani. OYO founder Ritesh Agarwal (age 32) became India's youngest billionaire with ₹14,440 crore. Women represent only 7% of India's billionaire population. Over 80% of current billionaires were not on the list a decade ago.
