In one of India's biggest heists, unidentified men posing as RBI officials intercepted a CMS Info Systems ATM cash van in JP Nagar, Bengaluru on November 19, 2025, and decamped with ₹7.11 crore. The suspects arrived in a car with a 'Government of India' sticker, forced the staff into their vehicle, and later dropped them near Dairy Circle.

Bengaluru police cracked the case within 54 hours, arresting three suspects including a serving constable from Govindapura police station who helped plan the heist. ₹5.76 crore was recovered. A 1,328-page chargesheet was filed against nine accused. The incident raised questions about security protocols in cash-in-transit operations across India.
