The 16th National Voters' Day was celebrated on January 25, 2026, with the theme 'My India, My Vote' and tagline 'Citizen at the Heart of Indian Democracy'. President Droupadi Murmu graced and addressed the celebrations in New Delhi, marking the 76th foundation day of the Election Commission of India (ECI), established on January 25, 1950.

ECI highlighted recent reforms including SVEEP for voter education, ECINET for global technology sharing, cVIGIL for quick violation reporting, 100% webcasting at polling stations, and EPIC card delivery fast-tracked to 15 days. Activities across the country included symposia, cycle rallies, human chains, folk art programmes, mini-marathons, and awareness seminars targeting young voters.
