DRDO successfully conducted a salvo launch of two Pralay surface-to-surface missiles in quick succession from the same launcher at the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur, off the Odisha coast on December 31, 2025. Both missiles followed their intended trajectories, meeting all flight objectives.

Pralay is an indigenously developed solid-propellant, quasi-ballistic missile with a range of 150-500 km, designed for high-precision conventional strikes. The successful salvo test demonstrated the system's capability for rapid multi-missile deployment, paving the way for early induction into the armed forces. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh commended DRDO, the Indian Air Force, Indian Army, DPSUs, and industry for the achievement.
