Rajasthan Chief Secretary V. Srinivas instructed power distribution companies to accelerate PM-KUSUM implementation and prepare a work plan to meet targets. He directed that projects with 3,000 MW capacity be developed by March 2026. Rajasthan was described as a hub for decentralised solar energy; Component-A supports 500 kW to 2 MW decentralised renewable plants on farmers' land, while Component-C relates to solarisation of grid-connected agriculture pumps. The state was reported as the second leading state under Component-C, with more than 2,700 MW already developed and PPAs signed for 10,634 MW across Components A and C.
